Veggie Fleurs

My favorite neighborhood florist and garden shop, Sprout Home, recently opened a little shop especially for cut flowers next door. Today I cobbled together cabbage flowers, rose hips, thistle, artichokes, rosemary and other pod-like things. It's incredible what a great scent punch that rosemary packs. It's filling the entire room with goodness.

Beautiful!!

I love pulling together items like that! I use sage in my bouquets as well which smells cosy! Always reminds me of thanksgiving stuffing!

Terrific arrangement! Our Thanksgiving hostess created something similar, with white lilies and variegated kale, et cetera.

this is how we will survive the recession!

Rosemary makes you feel good when you smell it.......and roses get hips.......(we like it when the roses get hips.........not me adding to my hips!)

gathering lovely things in our gardens is such a wonderful idea.......and so we will all go out and do it!

and send to HHovey pictures of our bouquets!

I say that is giving back!

since I first started loving and enjoying blogs......I wondered how on earth anyone would keep researching........writing.....and writing beautifully sharing so much information so generously.......and not making one dime doing it............

Creative people are like that.........we are not usually very good at business..........somehow; if we are lucky we find those who ARE good at business to help us!

Thank you! We have seven grandchildren.......we just had 4 here for Thanksgiving........)

I took all 4 to Magic Mountain...........what a BALL!!

the roller coasters.......are beyond.......you go upside-down!

But my very fave was the "Devil Dive"

Best ever.

I asked how many "Granny's do you get a day?"

the guys said.........you are the first.....and then the fist.......so cool.
You know the fist?
