Shooting Levi's

Levi's is helping New Yorkers be better photographers (or at least carry around badass old leather-encased cameras).  They've taken over the old Deitch Projects space and are renting out equipment -- and letting everyone use the FREE digital photobooth (so fun!).  Check out the Levi's Workshops online -- or pop to 18 Wooster Street and have a go at using something that actually requires film (or a bazillion megapixels).

what a wonderful idea....

...and i do love the way they displayed the cameras with the blackboard wall and outlines and discriptions of what is or what should be in that spot.

This is pretty cool.
I love the write on chalkboard wall and the rough hewn shelving.
Too cool.

My husband is a collector of "antiquated camera technologies" (his words). I have been looking for some inspiration for how to store/display them effectively. Chalkboard wall to the rescue! Amazing, adorable, all kinds of other A-adjectives!
