Flicks | Winter's Bone

One can (usually) judge a film by the quality of its previews. And, of course, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo had downright incredible ones (Winter's Bone, the one above, and I am Love). It turned out to be the best thriller I've seen since Silence of the Lambs. Winter's Bone may even match it.

That young lady actor seems so fresh and yet rock solid. I hope we see more of her.

That's a solid recommendation right there. Will definitely be checking this out now.

Also, yesterday I visited the Louvin Brothers Museum in Monteagle, TN. I don't know if it's worth driving out of the way, but if you find yourself heading towards Chattanooga and in need of grub, Jim Oliver's Smoke House and Trading Co has the best shrine to Ira and Charlie I've ever seen. Anyhow, just had to stop over and make that mention, since I know you're down. Glorious postings as always, and thanks again for the heads up on this new thriller.

goodbye horses,
