We've been staying at the Biltmore for the past couple days and right down the street, is the massive, beautiful bakery/bar/restaurant Bottega Louie, which has provided exceptional breakfast treats. It should win awards for best use of white.

Lovely counters, go on for what seems like a mile.
Love the jars too, old looking labels.
A great place to see.

Great pics, are they real Polaroids or iPhone-y ones? Either way v. nice, that Granola could double as pot pourri!
Hmmm, yes. This place is delicious. I go there because it feels like NY in LA!
You're right next door to the Central Library, come in and take a look at the Egyptian revival motif and the zodiac chandelier in the second floor rotunda!
order pisco sours from the bar - delicious!!
Great photographs! I also love the vintage feel. Great blog!

The macaron display at Louie always looks so nice. The restaurant actually won a design award from Dwell last year.
I was just in Los Angeles... went to some fab places and I'm still a little jealous of your choices.
