Old Sport

The University of Washington has amassed an expansive digital collection of images depicting life of the Pacific Northwest at the turn of the century.  Here we have an extraordinary glimpse of Native American athletes.

Great images from my alma mater. If you want to get some goosebumps and love sports history, google "Lone Star Dietz" and read about one of the winningest pioneer football coaches of all time. Someone ought to make a movie.
