You should come to Mississippi if you like dresses like the one you are wearing. We have great flea markets every weekend and we have so much fun scavenging for hidden treasures and things of that nature. And I love your tourqoise bracelet, it looks like something a gay native American would wear while getting off a cruise ship in Key West. Lovely. Just pure loveliness.

Be careful not to spill any moonshine on that beatiful piece of 20's clothing art

When my great grandmother passed away, she gave my mum all her clothes from when she was young and pretty. My mum kept all of them, and when she tragically died of brain cancer last year, those fantastic marvels of a bygone era were passed onto me. I wear them all the time and pretend I'm from the 1920's. They are so artfully made and beautiful and they fit my figure like nothing else i ever wore before. My phychiatrist says I should take my lithium more often but who cares. I love the 20's

20's inspired? Does that mean that there is hope for the rest of those who want our own? Terrific dress and details--I could wear that everyday.

  9. The woman said it was really "turn of the century" but Porter's almost 6 feet tall, so it's odd that a dress from that era would come close to fitting. But it is handmade!
