Perhaps a bit of a departure from the likes of Basquiat, but I'd call Ruth Marten a graffiti artist. Instead of buildings, Ruth (best known for drawing hair) tags 18th c. prints. It's like the highbrow version of drawing a mustache on a photo (I stole that comparison from someone else speaking on a very separate topic, but it fits).
